Description: Strahinja Mitrović (double bass) and Chloe Dumoulin (piano)

Programme includes works by Mozart, Schumann, Faure, Gliere and Liebermann.

Serbian Double Bassist Strahinja Mitrović is studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he completed his undergraduate degree under the mentorship of Luis Cabrera and cellist Louise Hopkins. He is currently pursuing his postgraduate studies in the class of esteemed cellist Louise Hopkins.
Recognised as a rising figure in classical music, Strahinja was named one of Classic FM’s “30 Under 30” Rising Stars, and was featured in 10 Men Magazine (Issue 61) as a “Next Big Thing” in the classical music world.
VMP Media describes Strahinja as “The Rising Star Bridging Tradition and Innovation in Classical Music.”
Strahinja currently plays on an instrument made by Albani in 1750.

Named one of CBC’s “30 Hottest Classical Musicians Under 30,” Canadian pianist Chloé

Dumoulin is establishing herself as one of the most promising artists of her generation. Known

for her sensitive, controlled, and deeply expressive playing, she has been praised for “an

impressive command of the instrument’s sound, with a tone that never jars the listener, even in

the fortissimos” (Le Soleil), as well as for being “an artist who truly has something to say.”

Chloé Dumoulin leads an international career that has taken her to stages across Canada, the

United States, Europe, and Asia. She made her debut at the Maison symphonique de Montréal

under the baton of Jacques Lacombe in 2021, having already appeared as a soloist with the

Orchestre Métropolitain and Orchestre Symphonique de Laval.

She also serves on the faculty at both the Domaine Forget and Orford Musique as an official

pianist. Her debut album, Nouveau lyrisme, was released on the Leaf Music label in June 2025.

Chloé is grateful for the prizes from the Sylva-Gelber Foundation and the Jeunesses Musicales

    Canada.

In 2025, she completed an Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in

London as a Leverhulme Arts Scholar (full scholarship), studying under Ronan O’Hora. As of

September 2025, she is a Junior Fellow at Guildhall. She previously trained at the Conservatoire

de musique de Montréal with André Laplante and Claire Ouellet, where she earned a dual

    master’s degree in 2023.

She has also received guidance from numerous renowned musicians during residencies and

masterclasses, including Louis Lortie, Richard Goode, Paul Lewis, Gabriela Montero, Arie

Vardi, Robert Levin, Dame Imogen Cooper, and Éric Le Sage.

“Perhaps Chloé Dumoulin will help make the world of great Quebec concert pianists (Hamelin,

Lortie, Richard-Hamelin, Liu, and others) a little less uniformly male.” – Le Soleil
